About Me

Recollection tells me that my first camera was on old box camera wrapped in a leather case, taking 4" B&W photos. From that first camera to the Canon I use today and every camera in between, I've always just set out with one thing in mind. To take a piece of the beautiful scenery home with me in the form of a photograph. In 2011 I took a giant leap of faith and put a dozen of my photos out for sale at the Steamboat Art Museum shop. After a surprising good response to those pictures, Jason Santucci Photography was born. Soon after I was offered the opportunity to show at a gallery right down the street, The Steamboat Center for Visual Arts. Along the way I've managed to sneak my pictures into other locations throughout Steamboat that you may recognize when you're out and about town. I feel very fortunate to call this place home and I'm more than happy to be able to share some of the beautiful scenery around me with all of you. Just like I set out to do all those years ago...
